an empty mind is healthy

welcome!

this site is dedicated to the teachings and philosophy of the buddha. called dharma, they are meant to promote emptiness because the nature of all that exists is fundamentally empty. whatever exists, exists only in the mind. what exist in the mind are hatred, confusion and attachment. these are emotions that prevent the mind from smiling. the mind must, thus, be freed from these disturbing emotions for they produce disturbing thoughts. these are the kind of thoughts that make us sick, unhappy, and destructive.for a mind to become healthy, it be must be emptied.

Visitor's notice

you are not in search for the truth because it does not last and it takes long to find it.

you want to find wisdom because it lasts and it is right there in your mind.

A smile to start the day

Waking up this morning, I smile.

Twenty four brand new hours are before me.

I vow to live fully in each moment

and to look at all beings with eyes of compassion.
